How it works
Staying connected while you travel takes three steps with COTA E-SIM.
1 · Choose your plan
Pick a data plan for the country or region you’re heading to. Local, regional and global bundles are available; each plan clearly shows its data amount, validity and price.
2 · Pay
Enter your email and check out securely. You can view the price in your preferred currency; card, Apple Pay and Google Pay are supported.
3 · Install with a QR code
After payment your eSIM QR code and activation link are generated instantly and emailed to you. Scan the QR from your phone’s eSIM settings, or enter the activation code manually.
Connect on arrival
Once installed, your line connects automatically at your destination. No physical SIM swap needed — your current number stays on your main line.
Device compatibility
Most modern eSIM-capable phones (iPhone XS and later, recent Android flagships) are compatible. Make sure your device is eSIM-capable and unlocked.
Installing your eSIM
- Step 1Open SettingsOpen the Settings app from your phone's home screen.
- Step 2Tap CellularIn the Settings list, choose Cellular (called Mobile Data on some versions).
- Step 3Add eSIMOn the Cellular screen, tap Add eSIM.
- Step 4Use QR CodeChoose Use QR Code. If you don't have the code to hand, you can enter the details manually from the same screen.
- Step 5Scan the codePoint the camera at the QR code on your order page or in your email. If it won't scan, enter the activation code (LPA) by hand.
- Step 6Label the lineName your new line and choose which line to use for data. Your number stays on your main line.
